*All fees below are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD). Goods and Service Tax (GST) of 5% and Provincial Sales Tax (PST) of 6% will be added to the registration fees.*

Registering to the conference will ensure access to all standard conference proceedings including:

  • Conference materials 
  • Coffee breaks 
  • Lunches 
  • Opening & closing ceremony 
  • Welcome Reception Admission 
  • ISBF 2023 and 2024 Membership (valid from the end of the conference until Dec 31, 2024)

Credit Card Payments 
Registration paid with a credit card is the preferred method and results in an immediate confirmation of attendance. We will only accept VISA and Mastercard and transactions will appear on your statement as a payment to Venue West Conference Services.  

E-transfer    
If you have a Canadian bank account and would like to send an e-transfer, please send it to [email protected] with a note indicating it is payment for “ICB2023” along with the delegate’s name. 

Bank Transfer / Cheque  
Banking and cheque details are provided on the Invoice. A fee of $30 USD will be added to your invoice for payments via bank transfers. 

Important Notes: 
If payment is made via bank transfer, you must include your name, “ICB2023” and invoice number. 

For payment by cheque, please include “ICB2023” in the memo line and the attendee’s name.  

Currency exchange charges or bank collection fees are the responsibility of the registrant.    

Invoices are payable within 30 days after receipt, or before the first day of the conference if the registration date is less than 30 days prior to the start of the conference. Copy of the bank transfer payment needs to be emailed to [email protected].

Cancellations are permitted up until August 17, 2023. Registrants will receive a full refund less $50 CAD administrative fee. Cancellations must be submitted in writing directly to the Conference Registration Team no later than the above date by emailing [email protected]. If payment was previously made by bank transfer or e-transfer, the notification must include all the relevant information regarding the bank account to which a possible refund may be remitted.  

Cancellations received after August 17, 2023 will not be refunded; however, transfer of your registration to another person is acceptable by emailing [email protected]. A $50.00 CAD administrative fee will be charged for every name change to an existing Conference registration. Please provide contact details for the replacement including their registration ID, full name and email address. Substitutions will be accepted up until September 11th, 2023. 

Delegates applying for a visa for entry into Canada, should do so as soon as possible to give ample time for approval process.  Should applicants be denied of their visa, all fees paid will be refunded, less a $50 CAD administrative fee, if they provide the Official Visa Letter of Refusal and proof of application date, no later than the start of the conference, September 17, 2023 by emailing [email protected] 

In the unlikely event that the Conference is cancelled, travel and accommodation costs (if any) will not be refunded. Registration fees will be refunded less a $50 CAD administrative fee.

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that at the time you register for the conference and book your travel, you take out an insurance policy of your choice. The policy should include loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the conference, loss of international/domestic air fares through cancellation for any reason, loss of tour monies through cancellation for any reason including airline or related services strikes within Sweden, failure to utilize tours or pre booked arrangements due to airline delay, Force Majeure or any other reason, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property, additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. The Organizing Committee and the Secretariat for ICB 2023 cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance. This insurance is to be purchased in your country of origin.
